Difference between Bus-bar tube and Heat Shrinkable Insulation Tape

The Bus-bar tube is usually used for insulation protection in the bus-bar of the power bus-bar high and low voltage switchgear, which can make the structure of the switchgear compact (shorten the distance between phases) and prevent accidental short circuit accidents.

The characteristics of the Bus-bar tube

1. The Bus-bar tube has strong flame retardant and self-extinguishing performance.

2. Excellent heat resistance, can be used continuously in the distribution cabinet.

3. Thick wall, good insulation and impact resistance.

4. Excellent flexibility, can be covered on the bent bus-bar.

Difference between Bus-bar tube and Heat Shrinkable Insulation Tape

First of all, in the extrusion stage, the heat shrink tube extruded is the pipe, and the  Heat Shrinkable Insulation Tape is the sheet; The heat shrink tube needs to be expanded separately into the finished caliber, while the heat shrink insulation tape is stretched synchronously during the extrusion stage. 

Secondly, semi-mechanical manual gluing is added to the heat shrinkable tube at the gluing stage. Small size manual gluing is applied. The heat shrinkable insulation tape is fully mechanical automatic gluing for the whole sheet. 

Finally, the heat-shrinkable tube can be packed into the warehouse after gluing, while the heat-shrinkable insulation tape needs to be cut in accordance with the specifications, equipped with fixed strips, and packaged as a whole before entering the warehouse.
