The Heat Shrinkable Termination Kit is mainly composed of jacket tube, stress control tube, breakout, rainshed and other components as well as their supporting materials such as filling mastic and sealing mastic. The heat shrinkable termination of plastic insulated cable and oil paper insulated cable above 6kV must have effective measures to alleviate the concentration of electric field at the shield end of the cable, such as stress control tube and heat shrinkable conductive breakout.
The lap parts of each component of the heat shrinkable termination must be properly sealed with leak plugging and moisture proof.
The additional insulation thickness of the plastic insulated cable heat shrinkable joint shall not be less than 1.5 times of the factory insulation thickness of the cable. The number of layers of the additional insulated heat shrink tube shall not be more than two layers for the cable joint of 10kV and below, and shall not be more than three layers for the cable joint of 35kV. The additional insulation must be in close contact with the insulation of the cable body.
The copper shield and armored layer of the cable at both ends of the joint should be connected respectively without interruption, and the soft copper braided net should be used to restore the copper shield, to ensure that the contact with each phase of insulation outer shield, and the two ends are connected with the cable copper belt.
The joint sealing must be good and should be strengthened by two different methods. In addition to considering the sealing of the outer sheath, necessary waterproof measures should also be taken for the core insulation of each phase of the three-core cable.
The three-core plastic insulated cable joint shall be properly filled with non-absorbent material to make it round and firmly bandaged after the insulation shielding treatment of each phase. The inner lining of the three-core plastic insulated cable joint shall have certain waterproof performance.
