Materials and Uses of Heat Shrinkable End Caps

Heat shrinkable cable sealing cap, referred to as Heat Shrinkable End Caps, is specially used in tubular type end to play a sealing protection material.

Heat Shrinkable End Caps is based on polyethylene, polyolefin polymer material will produce memory effect after free radical electron capture crosslinking, Heat Shrinkable End Caps is based on this principle to produce heat shrinkability. It has waterproof, insulating, sealing and anticorrosive material lined with hot melt adhesive. Widely used in optical cable and other industries.

Characteristics of Heat Shrinkable End Caps:

1. Strong sealing. The hot melt adhesive for the inner lining of the Heat Shrinkable End Caps is EVA type strong hot melt adhesive, whose quality is in a leading position among similar products.

Use of heat shrinkable end caps

Heat shrinkable end caps provide cost-effective sealing and waterproofing for power and control cable terminals. Seal the inner layer of spiral hot melt adhesive, after shrinkage to prevent water entry. Suitable for outdoor, underground, lead or XLPE cable protection.
